Project Mayari
Project Mayari is Asenso Kabataan’s dedicated health and wellness initiative, inspired by the resilience and nurturing qualities of Mayari, the moon goddess. Just as the moon illuminates the night and regulates natural cycles, Project Mayari strives to guide communities toward better health, holistic well-being, and mental resilience. The program blends the wisdom of science with the empowerment of preventive care, aiming to create healthier, more informed, and balanced lives.
Key Initiatives:
Physical Health Programs – Regular health check-ups, medical missions, vaccination drives, nutrition workshops, and fitness activities to promote a healthy lifestyle.
Mental Health Awareness – Seminars, counseling services, and support groups to reduce stigma around mental health and provide coping mechanisms for stress, anxiety, and depression.
Wellness Campaigns – Workshops on sleep hygiene, stress management, mindfulness, and holistic wellness practices to encourage balanced living.
Youth and Family Engagement – Programs designed to educate youth and families about healthy habits, preventive care, and early detection of health issues.
Health Literacy and Education – Community talks, information drives, and digital campaigns to provide accurate, science-based guidance on common health concerns.
Partnerships with Experts – Collaboration with medical professionals, nutritionists, mental health advocates, and wellness coaches to deliver reliable and actionable programs.
Since its inception, Project Mayari has reached hundreds of residents with preventive care, counseling sessions, and educational programs, fostering a healthier, more mindful, and resilient community. The initiative continues to expand, with a focus on mental health support, wellness education, and accessible health services for all sectors, particularly the youth, seniors, and underserved populations.
