Project G.R.E.E.N. (Generating Resources for Environmental Empowerment and Nation-building)
Project G.R.E.E.N. is an environmental sustainability program of Asenso Kabataan Inc. dedicated to building cleaner, greener, more resilient, and sustainable communities through environmental education, climate action, urban agriculture, and responsible resource management.
The program promotes environmental awareness and encourages communities to take an active role in protecting the environment through practical, community-driven initiatives. It advocates climate change adaptation and mitigation, hydroponics and urban agriculture, proper solid waste management, community greening, and food security, alongside other initiatives that support ecological balance and sustainable livelihoods.
Through partnerships, education, and collective action, Project G.R.E.E.N. empowers young people, families, and local communities to transform environmental awareness into meaningful, lasting change. By promoting sustainable practices and making better use of available resources, the program seeks to cultivate a culture of environmental responsibility while helping communities become more self-sufficient and prepared for the challenges of climate change.
